Email Lists
- Can I rent or buy an email list to use with the CampRes service?
- No. CampRes can only be used with email lists for which you have permission to communicate to. Please read our ANTI-SPAM policy.
- What happens to my list after I upload it to CampRes?
- Your list is safe behind our heavily secured firewalls. It will reside in your CampRes account until you remove your list. CampRes will never rent, share or sell your list.
- How do I get my list imported in to my CampRes account?
- CampRes will accept your email addresses in 3 file formats; .txt (text file), .csv (Comma Separated Values) and .xls (MS Excel Spreadsheet).
- If I want to use the email addresses I have in my Outlook Address book, how do I get them in to CampRes?
- To import an address file from Microsoft Outlook, you must export your Outlook Contact folder to a text (i.e., contacts.txt) file. Detailed instructions.
- What if I don't have an email list?
- No Problem. It's time to get started! There are several ways you can collect email addresses. CampRes provides a list building tool in the form of a sign up box to be put on your web site. Your site visitors can sign up for your email list and their addresses are automatically imported in to your CampRes account. We also offer a complete web-based communications tool which allows visitors to your site to submit questions and provides you with an interface thru which you can manage and reply. Each inquiry automatically gets added to your CampRes account.

Creating Email Postcards
- Do I need to know HTML to create an email campaign?
- Absolutely not! You will be able to create beautiful html campaigns by providing us your content. Our professional web designers take care of all of the production details.
- Is there a cost to customize CampRes templates?
- Nope! You can provide your own logo and picture, select text color size and type. You can add or remove paragraphs as needed.
- What if I want my email campaign to match my web site and I don't see a standard template that looks like it will work?
- CampRes offers a template branding service. We will work with you on designing a customized template with the look you want and feel you desire.

What does CampRes do to make sure my emails get delivered?
CampRes has relationships with many of the leading ISPs and blacklists. This includes the sharing of information regarding policies, practices and issues. CampRes has dedicated resources on the team to make sure that we do everything possible to make sure that your email gets delivered successfully.

Getting Started
Getting started is really very easy. Simply select the design style which you would like to use for your email broadcast and email your account rep with your choice. We'll contact you to assist you thru the steps of providing your message, image and logo. You'll also be able to discuss any special preferences you may have. Once we receive your message, image and list materials, we'll email a proof for your review, usually within 4 business hours. Upon your approval, your email campaign will then be queued for distribution. How easy is that!

Email Campaign Reporting
- Can I see who opens my email campaigns?
- Yes, you can see the email addresses of who opened your emails as well as those who clicked on what links within your emails.
- Does CampRes give me any information on the bounced emails?
- Yes! CampRes has a bounce reporting feature that allows you to see which addresses bounced, and how many times.
- Can I see how many "click-thru's" my campaign generated?
- Absolutely! Your campaign send report will reflect how many total clicks each link received as well as how many unique user clicks.
